Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, is the most important traditional holiday in China. It originated from ancient farming customs and marks the beginning of a new year according to the lunar calendar.

During the festival, families gather for a reunion dinner on New Year's Eve. People also paste red Spring Festival couplets, set off firecrackers, and give out red envelopes containing lucky money to children. On the first day, people visit relatives and friends to exchange greetings.

I love Spring Festival because it brings the whole family together. No matter how far we are, we always find our way home to celebrate this special occasion.
